Affiliations Sue is certified as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) by the International Coach Federation (ICF), the professional association of personal and business coaches that seeks to preserve the integrity of coaching around the globe. By awarding Sue ACC credentials after an extensive examination process, the ICF has determined that Sue's coaching skills meet ICF standards. As an ICF member, Sue agrees to utilize the ICF Core Competencies when coaching, and is accountable to the ICF for following their Code of Ethics. Sudo Coaching LLC is accredited by the Better Business Bureau (BBB). In addition, the BBB has evaluated this web site and determined that it meets BBBOnLine standards. She also participates in Coach University's IT special interest group. Sue is a member of the ACM and the IEEE, leading organizations for technical professionals. She is also a member of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), BPW/USA, and BPW International New York. Sue actively contributes to the community. Sudo Coaching LLC is a supporting report underwriter for a 2008 study of female mid-level technologists' career challenges, researched by Stanford University and the Anita Borg Institute. Sue is on the review committee for the Anita Borg Institute's Systers Pass-It-On grant for women in technology. Through MentorNet, Sue has e-mentored female graduate and undergraduate computer science students since 2001. Sue is Vice President of the Board of Trustees for a local childcare center that serves underprivileged families. She has served on local BPW/USA and BPW International boards, and is an instructor for BPW/USA's Individual Development Program on Leadership. |
